After about five minutes of conversation with any elderly person, they begin to heap praise and fawn over me. I suspect it’s because I’m moderately well-spoken and actually look them in the eye while talking (two skills which are almost non-existant in my age group). You think I’m the hope of this generation? Well, you’re dead wrong! I’m not the hope. And I’m just as scared as you.
